A great resource for continuing your quest to discover God's ways. This study guide is intended as a follow-up study for the book, Discovering the Mind of a Woman. Reading this book first should be a pre-requisite to reading the Self-Study Guide.
Within the guide’s text there are questions designed to present concepts that can change a man’s life if he ponders them for personal answers. The questions will cause a man to examine the deepest and perhaps the most hidden attitudes of his heart in a serious way. The questions will challenge any preconceived notions that hinder his relationship with his wife and with God. An overlying principle that I wanted to convey in the study guide is that it is possible to find solutions to problems by thoroughly understanding them. In the same way, when it comes to understanding how to build Christ-likeness in my life, I must discover every facet of my flesh (un-Christ-likeness) before I can successfully put my flesh to death. Since I am supposed to illustrate Christ to my wife, I can use my marriage as a major resource to discover problem areas. That is why this guide focuses on what may seem like negatives… I can only correct the negatives in my life if I understand them well enough to make necessary changes. That is positive!
